Rice Bran Powder

Ceramides to reduce irritation and hydrate skin

Glucosylceramides to enhance skin moisture when paired with ceramides

Allantoin to reduce inflammation and enhances skin renewal and wound healing.

Ferulic acid to reduce free radical damage. When added to Vitamin C and E, this antioxidant boosts the ability of the skin to resist solar damage

Lactoferrin to stimulate wound repair through its antimicrobial effect and anti-inflammatory activity. It also has a stimulatory effect on cell proliferation

CoEnzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is pivotal in the production of biological energy (ATP) inside the cells. It is also potent antioxidant neutralising destructive free radicals which can damage and age skin cells. CoQ10 is a small molecule that can relatively easily penetrate skin cells.

The human body naturally produces CoQ10. This production declines as we age, resulting in reduced ability to fight free radical damage, which in turn impacts skin repair and regeneration and production of collagen and elastin. A 1999 German research study reported that long-term use of CoQ10 reduced the appearance of wrinkles around the eye.

Betaine

naturally in our own body including skin and hair. The skin cells accumulate betaine actively during the dehydration and UV-radiation. Betaine is called an osmoprotectant as it controls the right water balance of the cell without interfering with normal cellular processes. It can also counteract chemical and mechanical skin irritants. Facilitates fibroblast growth collagen production and works in synergy with glycerine to increase hydration in the skin.

Hyaluronic acid

a powerful natural hydration able to hold 1000 times its weight in water, allowing the skin to retain moisture. Aids in cellular repair

Direction

Shake powder into palm of hand. Add water to powder (approx. 2:1 ratio). Emulsify in the hand, massage gently into face and neck focusing on areas of dull skin and rinse thoroughly.
